Sean H. Gao, also known as Haotian Gao, is a distinguished Chinese contemporary artist, musician, curator, and digital analyst. With a versatile portfolio spanning various mediums, including drawing, painting, photography, moving images, installation art, instrumental and vocal compositions, as well as collaborative research projects, Gao has made significant contributions to the arts.

Hailing from Wuhan, China, Gao embarked on his artistic journey at a tender age. In 2019, he achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in Economics and Arts. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Gao has just graduated in 2023 from Pratt Institute, earning a Master's degree in Museums and Digital Culture at School of Information, deepening his expertise in the museum field.

Throughout his professional trajectory, Gao has garnered valuable experience at esteemed institutions such as the Hubei Provincial Museum, the Palace Museum, Zall Art Museum, and the 798 International Children's Festival. His research ventures have taken him to renowned organizations including the Center for Digital Experiences, Lesbian Herstory Archives, The Peale, Andy Warhol Museum, and Evrmore.

Gao's artistic achievements transcend visual artistry, as he has achieved distinction as an erhu artist, receiving national and international acclaim through prestigious awards.
